In different weather climate steel corrugated culvert construction precautions are not the same, winter and summer, high temperature and low temperature, the environment is different construction measures are also different.
1.High temperature weather corrugated culvert construction measures
Ø When the concrete is constructed in hot period, the mixing water should be used to take cooling treatment measures to control the concrete filling temperature below 30℃, and the influence of high temperature on the loss of concrete collapse should be considered. Concrete shall not be mixed with water during transportation.
Ø If the conditions are available, it should be covered and protected from the sun to reduce the temperature of the formwork and reinforcement; water can also be sprinkled on the formwork and reinforcement to reduce the temperature, but there should not be any stagnant or adherent water in the formwork during the pouring of concrete.
Ø Concrete transportation trucks should have mixing devices, and the tanks should be protected from the sun. Ø Concrete should be mixed slowly and uninterruptedly during transportation and the transportation time should be minimized.
Ø The formwork should be dismantled when the temperature is lower during the day and the concrete surface should be moisturized and cured for not less than 7 days after dismantling the formwork.
2.Measures for construction of corrugated steel culvert pipe during rainy period
Ø Construction in rainy period should be arranged early, try to arrange to complete before the rainfall, waterproof facilities around the pit to prevent the surrounding water from flowing into the pit.
Ø Increase the frequency of water content testing of sand and stone materials, adjust the concrete ratio in time to ensure the quality of concrete mixing.
Ø Steel corrugated culvert pipes should be strengthened to prevent corrosion. Ø When connecting the steel corrugated culvert pipes, a temporary rain shelter should be set up to prevent erosion by rainwater.
Ø Special attention should be paid to the protection of power supply lines, the electric box of on-site electromechanical equipment should be covered and moisture-proof measures should be taken, and the electric wires should be well insulated to prevent leakage and electrocution accidents.
3.Measures for construction of corrugated steel culvert pipe in winter
Ø The ambient temperature during welding should not be lower than -20℃, and measures should be taken to prevent snow, wind and other measures to reduce the temperature difference of the welded joints. The joints after welding are strictly prohibited to contact with ice and snow immediately.
Ø The mixing ratio and slump of concrete should be strictly controlled when mixing concrete in winter, and the aggregate should not be with ice and snow and frozen lumps. Before feeding, hot water or steam should be used to rinse the mixing pan or drum of the mixing machine. The order of adding materials should be aggregate and water first, and then add cement after a little mixing, and the mixing time should be 50% longer than that at room temperature.
Ø Concrete pouring should choose a sunny day and ensure that it is completed before cooling down, and at the same time, it should be insulated and maintained, and should not be frozen before the concrete strength reaches the design requirements.
Ø Concrete out of the machine temperature should not be lower than 10 ℃, its transport equipment should have insulation measures, and should maximize the shortening of transport time, the temperature into the mold should not be lower than 5 ℃.
Ø Concrete transportation vehicles should have heat preservation measures, and minimize the transportation time of concrete.
