In April, our company successfully secured an order for spiral welded steel pipes from a new client in Albania. These pipes, manufactured from Q235B steel and compliant with the API 5L PSL1 standard, will be directly used in a local hydropower station’s water conveyance project. As the direct purchaser for this project, the client will use all procured products for their own needs, thereby contributing to the upgrade of local water conservancy infrastructure.
This collaboration was made possible through a sincere referral from an existing client. Over the years, our company has built a large base of loyal customers both domestically and internationally thanks to our consistent product quality and attentive, customized service. Our long-standing clients are well aware of our professional capabilities in SSAW steel pipe production and project adaptation. Upon learning of the water conveyance pipeline procurement needs for the Albanian project, they immediately recommended us, establishing an efficient and reliable bridge of cooperation between both parties. Backed by the endorsement of our long-standing client, the new client quickly established a cooperative intent, saving a significant amount of time that would otherwise have been spent on qualification verification and communication coordination.
The spiral pipes procured in this transaction are primarily intended for the water conveyance system of a hydropower station, which imposes high requirements on the pipes’ sealing performance, pressure resistance, and stability. API 5L PSL1 is an internationally recognized standard for line pipe, suitable for engineering applications such as water conveyance and pipeline transportation. The Q235B material offers excellent toughness, superior weldability, and strong structural stability. It is capable of withstanding the complex operating conditions of water conveyance in hydraulic engineering projects over the long term, demonstrating outstanding resistance to pressure and deformation, and fully meeting the requirements for long-term, stable water conveyance in hydropower stations.
These negotiations began in early April. Based on the project schedule and their own financial planning, the client planned to first use their own funds to purchase a small batch of pipes for preliminary construction preparations. After understanding the client’s actual situation, our sales team, drawing on years of experience in exporting water conservancy pipes, proactively optimized the specification mix and procurement quantity plan for the client. Based on the client’s actual construction requirements, and without compromising project standards, we rationally consolidated specifications and optimized purchase quantities. This effectively reduced the number of shipping batches, significantly lowering the combined costs of packing and logistics. The optimized plan fully aligns with the client’s project needs while saving them on their procurement budget.
The successful conclusion of this order for the Albanian hydropower station project not only demonstrates the power of word-of-mouth from our long-standing clients but also serves as a true reflection of our company’s professional services, flexible production capacity, and commitment to empowering our clients. Moving forward, we will continue to support the high-quality implementation of more overseas water conservancy projects with our premium pipe products.
