In August, EHONG signed a contract with a new client in Albania to supply Q235B-grade API 5L PSL1 spiral welded steel pipes. These pipes will be used in a local hydropower project’s water conveyance system.

 

This collaboration originated from a referral by an existing client, who, having recognized the quality of our pipe products and our international trade services through long-term cooperation, proactively recommended the project owner to us. After receiving the inquiry, our sales team worked with the client to develop an optimized solution based on the project’s water conveyance conditions and actual container loading requirements. Without compromising the hydropower plant’s water conveyance requirements or the API 5L PSL1 standard, we recommended adjusting certain specifications and optimizing the purchase quantities. Following these adjustments, the number of containers required was reduced, and the price became more competitive. After evaluating the proposal, the client approved our optimization approach.

 

The products are made of Q235B steel and manufactured in accordance with the API 5L PSL1 standard. The ssaw steel pipes feature stable welds, and their pressure-bearing performance meets the operational requirements of water conveyance pipelines, making them suitable for long-term water conveyance at the hydropower plant. During the communication process, we simultaneously provided product quality inspection documentation to confirm the pipes’ dimensions, mechanical properties, and other specifications, and finalized the order details. The order has now been shipped as scheduled.
