In August, EHONG successfully secured an order from a new customer in Vietnam for Q235 cold-formed u beam, manufactured in accordance with the GB/T 6728 standard. The customer is a local trading company with highly specific procurement needs. The negotiation process involved detailed communication, and the partnership was ultimately established smoothly, further expanding EHONG’s presence in the Vietnamese building materials market.

 

The client provided very detailed requirements in their initial inquiry. Upon receiving the inquiry, we calculated the price based on the client’s specified requirements and prepared a quotation. After reviewing the quotation, the client immediately requested actual product photos. We promptly compiled and sent the photos, and both parties subsequently cross-checked various specifications, such as dimensions and cross-sections, multiple times.

 

After multiple rounds of communication and confirmation, the client accepted the quote. Given the importance of the order, the client requested an on-site visit and sent representatives to our office for face-to-face discussions. During the on-site meeting, we introduced our quality inspection processes and supply assurance capabilities, and addressed the client’s questions regarding product delivery, packaging, and inspection. Following the site visit, the client was impressed by our capabilities and promptly arranged payment of a deposit upon the conclusion of the negotiations, officially finalizing the order.

 

The key factor in securing this partnership was our product customization capability. The cold-formed u channel steel the client was sourcing had relatively niche specifications that many manufacturers on the market were unable to produce or supply; however, we were able to provide products in the required specifications, thereby resolving the client’s primary procurement challenge. Furthermore, while meeting the client’s specifications, our quote remained competitive, striking a balance between product quality and cost that aligned with the trading company’s procurement requirements. The products are made of Q235 steel and manufactured in strict accordance with the GB/T 6728 standard. They feature stable forming and controllable dimensional accuracy, meeting the requirements for engineering and processing in Vietnam.
