The difference between the use of I-beam and U beam:
I-beam application scope: ordinary I-beam, light I-beam, due to the relatively high and narrow section size, the moment of inertia of the two main sleeves of the section is relatively different, which makes it have great limitations in the application range. The use of I-beams should be selected according to the requirements of the design drawings.

U beam use:
Channel steel is mainly used in building structure, curtain wall engineering, mechanical equipment and vehicle manufacturing. In use, it is required to have better welding, riveting and comprehensive mechanical properties. The raw material billet for producing channel steel is carbon bonded steel or low alloy steel billet with carbon content not exceeding 0.25%. The finished channel steel is delivered by hot working, normalizing or hot rolling.
