In typical urban and rural atmospheric environments, the zinc layer corrodes at a rate of only 1–3 microns per year, providing robust protection for the steel substrate. Even when the zinc coating is locally damaged, it continues to protect the steel substrate through “sacrificial anode protection,” significantly delaying substrate corrosion.
3. The zinc coating exhibits excellent adhesion. Even when subjected to complex deformation processes, the zinc layer remains intact without peeling.
4. It possesses good thermal reflectivity and can serve as a heat insulation material.
5. The surface gloss is long-lasting.
