Short Description:

Hot Rolled Steel Plate Production Process

1.Raw Material Preparation: Steel billets (continuous casting billets or ingots) are sent to the rolling shop for surface cleaning.

2.Heating:Billets are heated in a heating furnace to above 1100°C.Rolling: Rough rolling: billets are initially rolled to shape. Finishing Rolling: Further rolling to finished thickness.

3.Cooling & Coiling: After cooling by laminar flow, the billet is coiled into steel coils by coiling machine.

4.Finishing: Levelling and straightening to improve surface quality and plate shape.
